Understanding Your First Bill

Understanding your first bill upon joining TCC or adding an additional service can sometimes be confusing.  There are 2 main points to remember:

  1. We, like many providers, bill a month in advance
  2. All services will prorate from the day you hook up

All items in the purple box show your charges for a full month of service as depicted by the date column.

All items in the red box show the prorated amount for that same service from the date you hooked up to the end of that current billing cycle.

We understand this can be a little confusing, and sometimes create some ‘bill shock’ when you receive your first TCC bill after hooking up or adding a new service – hopefully this helps! If you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
